Well, Mr. Rhybak is up there now in pretty nice weather. I've been watching his Instagram feed...no updates yet. What's coming this weekend wouldn't be comfortable...at least not for me. I guess if you get too hot you just jump into the water.

Check out the "Feels Like" temps this weekend...pretty gusty too...

Hi Todd,

Wind direction is great and fairly constant - will make for good fishing wind blown shorelines.

We're heading up to camp this Thursday afternoon for an extra long weekend and have been keeping a close eye on the forecast.
Our little cabin is nestled nicely into dense bush and is not near a lake so we don't get much in the way of a cool breeze.
We are up on a hill though so that sometimes picks up a bit of wind that we wouldn't get if we were located a little further down in the valley.
In preparation of the hotter weather, we picked up a couple of small cheapy fans to clip onto the bedsides, since the cabin is very tiny it shouldn't take much air movement to give us a bit of relief.
Might have to think about a solar upgrade sooner than later though, to start running a small window AC unit!

I know some of you on the forum are not fans of winter, but I think this weekend I'm going to be wishing we were back to this:

That's from December of this winter past, -20.2 F for our friends south of the border.
This all being said, we won't complain too much, the hot weather is nice too and the solar system is large enough to run our little fridge, meaning we can keep our beverages cold!  8)
I think we'll survive......

Cheers everyone, enjoy the weekend

Well I'm not going to go as far as wishing for the cold of winter, but I'm not a huge fan of deep heat either.

I've found those cooling towels (available at most sporting goods stores, Target, Wal-Mart, etc.) really work on cooling you down and keeping you cool. I swear by them now for Kipawa, golfing, yard work, etc.

Hmmm interesting, never even heard of them to be honest, thanks for the tip!
Keep cool, and hydrated!
