What a sickness , this tackle thing.

It seems that every time I go into a sporting goods store now a days, I'm putting two packages of the Berkley minnows onto the counter.

The other day I went into SAIL to check out some ice fishing lures.
They didn't have the particular lure that I wanted but guess what, I saw some Berkley minnows.
Also ended up looking at and buying circle hooks to try out on those pesky walleye.

Love the circle hooks!  Most of the time it's right in their lip and not down the throat.  It kills me to throw a fish back with a hook in it's throat, or bleeding because you tried to get it out.

Those "smelt" baits work here for crappie too.  Just need a little smaller bait.

3" is good for crappie, or bite a bit off if needed.
