Thanks for the add. I will be making my first trip up to Kipawa July 29 - August 5 and will be staying at Taggart Bay Lodge. Any info on what type of tackle for walleye and general techniques for that time of year would be awesome. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Also what is the best place to stop on the way in for groceries? I'm coming from Pittsburgh Pa. Thanks in advance. Tight Lines!

Thanks for the welcome. I am new to the forum, fished a number of times in Kipawa.

Look forward to learning more about fishing in the kipawa region , stayed near Al Waki lodge and fished hunter lake for walleye, have enjoyed the trips up to Kipawa with my brother in law and our sons.

Have enjoyed reading the many email /forum threads about the fishing.  We are heading up last week of june for 3/4 days.
